GET ON THE BUS

A 22 year old walks into an agency and is offered the position of Creative Director on the spot. That was Tom Townsend.

A jaded salesman decides his calling in life is photography, opens the phone book, and calls the first photographer he finds. That was Mark Katzman calling Scott Ferguson.

That’s the beauty of REBUS. When you attend a REBUS event—be it hosted by Rodgers Townsend, Ferguson Katzman, or any other illustrious studio or agency—you’re going to learn. These events are much more than tours. What lies beneath that wall full of ADDYs and the requisite foosball table? That’s what we’re about. We dig deep. We get personal. We learn.

Second Tuesday of every month—mark it on your calendar.

REBUS FAQ

Where can I get more information?

The answer is:Check us out on facebook!

What in tarnation does REBUS mean?

Literally, “a representation of words in the form of pictures or symbols.”

We began as an initiative between copywriters and art directors for portfolio collaboration. In other words, art + copy. Hence the name. But we’ve expanded far beyond this inceptive concept. Don’t you worry.

So who-all is welcome?

Any and all young advertising colleagues…account execs, copywriters, videographers, art directors, designers, students…the bus is for everyone.

What’s the benefit?

We connect, educate and further career growth for our members through exclusive engagements within the St. Louis advertising community. We’re a forum for networking, collaboration and inspiration.

But I’m always hungry after work.

That’s why our host agencies graciously provide the sustenance you need to keep your brain cranking for those extra couple of hours. Check out the pictures to ease your mind and stomach. Many of our hosts go all-out.
