Job Description

HughesLeahyKarlovic, a leading digital agency in St. Louis, is seeking a highly motivated and savvy individual for the position a Digital Media Planner / Buyer as a part of their Behavioral Planning & Strategy group. In this challenging position, you will work with Brand Management and Strategy teams to develop and implement complex digital media plans.

The role of the Digital Media Planner is a broad one and will give you exposure to all functions within Media – research & strategy, negotiation, ad serving & implementation, and analysis. The types of plans and budgets you will work with will vary greatly, and you’ll gain experience with all different digital mediums (search, display, mobile, etc). The successful candidate will have a passion for digital advertising and an insatiable desire to learn and explore emerging trends.

Responsibilities:

Develop strategic interactive media plans
Consult with creative teams on campaign elements, including banners, email, rich media, search marketing, mobile and more
Coordinate negotiations with media vendors
Coordinate with Digital Traffic Manager for trafficking digital products
Develop performance dashboards for campaign reporting and optimization
Maintain expert knowledge of interactive/digital media and contribute to agency education and knowledge sharing.

Desired Skills & Experience

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with interest or emphasis in marketing, advertising, psychology or related fields
2 years online/digital/interactive advertising experience required
Excellent project management skills.
Superior Microsoft Excel capabilities.
Experience with ad serving technologies is required (Atlas DMT, DART, Bluestreak, PointRoll, etc.).
Knowledge of basic a HTML and FTP technologies, is a plus.
Ability to manage, collect and integrate online advertising reporting data from multiple sources, to include web analytics, ad-servers, and other sources.
Advertising trafficking experience, comprehensive knowledge of online creative specifications.
