Weintraub Advertising, founded in 1953, is a $30 million advertising, marketing and public relations agency in St. Louis, MO, and one of the top 10 largest in the city. We have an immediate opening in our fast-paced environment for a full-time Copywriter. Successful candidate will have a strong creative background with demonstrated experience in conceptualizing and developing traditional and digital marketing executions. Keys to success include: strong communications and writing skills, style flexibility, strategic thinking, multi-tasking, attention to detail, proofreading and collaboration with art directors and designers on concepts and final executions.

Responsibilities include:
• Understanding of our clients’ unique retail brands and writing copy to meet their needs and voice
• Developing concepts and copy for a wide variety of mediums and campaigns, including but not limited to: web and online executions, preprint, collateral, radio and TV, direct mail, point-of-purchase, and more
• Facilitating production of materials by collaborating with art directors, designers and account service personnel
• Infusing copy assignments with energy and a fresh perspective while maintaining brand consistency
• Attending selected meetings with account staff and/or clients, asking questions and initiating research to accomplish creative objectives and meet critical deadlines
• Handling multiple projects, prioritizing and working well in a deadline-driven environment
• Proofreading and copy editing as needed

Requirements:
• 1-5 years copywriting and editing experience preferably in an agency environment
• Proficiency and proven ability to write SEO copy, PPC ads and social marketing entries
• Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing or public relations, or the equivalent combination of education & experience
• Demonstrated ability to develop concepts and ideas, then manage start-to-finish executions of wide-variety of traditional and digital materials
• Demonstrated knowledge of B2C and B2B marketing
• Strong communication skills — written, verbal, listening
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and priorities within specified deadlines
• Nice person, smart and a hard worker
