Schupp Co. is on the hunt for art director and copywriter interns for Fall 2010 and Winter 2011. If you’re creative, hardworking and motivated, we’ve got you in our sights. In addition to working on national, local and made-up clients, you’ll be in charge of restocking our beer-vending machine. So if you’re not committed to keeping it cold and full, please look elsewhere.
The fine print.
• Must be at least a junior in college and working toward a degree in advertising, marketing, communications or a related field. Recent graduates are also acceptable.
• It’s a paid, full-time internship, so be prepared to work 40+ hours a week. But we’re yoga-style flexible on it.
• A portfolio is a must for an interview, and it needs to show how creatively badass you truly are.
• Art directors must have a working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash and all the other fancy computer programs.
• Copywriters have it easier. Can you write in cursive and use MS Word?
• All applicants must also demonstrate a strong ability to think conceptually. Not too yoga-style flexible on that one.
