“Joe and Eric have helped fuel agency growth and the name change recognizes their leadership, dedication and innovative work,” noted Bill Hughes. “At 34 years young, our company is always looking to evolve and grow, and with our new name, we are propelling the agency’s existing culture and history of excellence forward through enhanced leadership.”
Karlovic has led the agency’s digital efforts since 2002 and was named a Partner in 2008. Leahy joined the firm as Chief Creative Officer and Partner in 2010.
“The agency has a rich history of proven success for clients both here in St. Louis and around the country,” said Karlovic. “We’re very excited about evolving our brand and look forward to continuing to offer exceptional service and depth to these clients, some of whom have been with us for decades.”
Founded in 1977 as Hughes Advertising, HughesLeahyKarlovic (HLK) is a full-service agency, offering advertising, digital marketing, social media marketing, media buying, brand planning, design and public relations. The new name reflects the agency’s leadership position in digital and social media communications. In fact, earlier this year HLK was named the digital agency of record for Monsanto and is currently involved with online and mobile communications for brands like Asgrow, DEKALB, Deltapine and Genuity.
“The heart of our agency is our employees and the work they produce each and every day. We have an incredibly talented and passionate team and it’s a thrill to watch them create some pretty inspiring work,” added Leahy.
HughesLeahyKarlovic lists many area companies and organizations among its clients, including Monsanto, Enterprise, Webster University, Save-A-Lot, 901 Tequila, AAA Insurance, RubinBrown, and Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, just to name a few.
HughesLeahyKarlovic employs 35 people and is located in the historic Art of Living building in downtown St. Louis.
