ADVERTISING AGENCY KUHL/SWAINE SCORES ST. LOUIS BLUES
Fresh off the heels of a 109 point season (2nd overall in NHL), a Central Division Title and the introduction of new, local ownership, the St. Louis Blues have hired local advertising agency Kuhl/Swaine as their official agency of record.
“There’s such a rich history and bright future with this franchise, and we’re really looking forward to telling the city of St. Louis that story,” agency co-owner Dave Kuhl stated.
“Last season was a historic year for our team and our town and we want to carry that momentum into this season,” said St. Louis Blues Chief Operating Officer, Bruce Affleck.
The Blues captured the hearts and minds of St. Louis with their Cinderella run to the top of the Central Division, lead by the top goaltending duo, the “NHL Coach of the Year” and the “General Manager of the Year”.
Kuhl/Swaine will be crafting television, radio, print and out-of-home messaging to remind new and old hockey fans alike that the Blues are back to their proud tradition of winning.
“We're celebrating the confluence of two of our greatest passions - creating breakthrough advertising and St. Louis Blues Hockey. This might explain all the spontaneous cries of ‘Let’s Go Blues!’ around the office. It's like the playoffs down here,” noted fellow co-owner and Creative Director, Dave Swaine.
While Kuhl/Swaine is just now celebrating its first year of operations, the agency has seen significant growth since moving into their offices at 1016 Mississippi Ave. The agency carries a ten-year client relationship with Bass Pro Shops and their in-store brands, and does work for local and national clients including Klipsch Speakers, Brine Lacrosse, Repel Insect Repellant, LDI Pharmacy Services, Ardent Outdoors, GE Capital, Bertucci Field Watches and more.
