St. Louis-based digital media company, has just launched their new website showcasing many cool innovative features including rotating animated backgrounds, updated show and interactive reels, a Studio Tour, & an up-to-the-minute Coolfire News section. The design and development of the new Coolfire Media website serves as a way to highlight the companies own integrated digital media services, new and old. The site was developed in house as a collaborative effort between stakeholders across the company of different disciplines including producers, creative directors, motion graphics professionals, and hard-core back-end site programmers. Some of the behind the scenes updates to the site, done completely in-house include the development of a fully scripted Action Script 3, completely searchable Flash 9 site built on a custom-built content management system that allows for easy updates to media and text on an ongoing basis. In addition, the site served as a breeding ground for developing new streaming-media functionality that uses high end, advanced media encoding which does an excellent job of preserving the quality to low file size ratio which allows high quality video to stream across average internet connections without lag. Combining Action Script 3, PHP, XML, DB programming, killer graphics and motion, and high quality streaming video was no small feat, but serves as a great showcase of Coolfire Media’s own ability to create lasting brand experiences across the entire array of their integrated digital media services.
The redesign of the Coolfire website is part of an overall branding strategy that reflects consistency and fresh creative solutions. “We’ve been around for 6 years now and are very much on the radar for many companies. It’s important to make sure that Coolfire has a identity in the creative marketplace.
