Formerly of Core A/V, Dames and Stamp bring a bevy of production, motion design and Interactive experience to Coolfire, working with clients such as Gucci, HP, Pontiac and Virgin Mobile to name a few. Also joining Coolfire is Dave Farmer, who worked closely on technology and development with Dames and Stamp while at Core AV. He will continue to work on projects with John and Jason as well as Coolfire’s Interactive team.
“John and Jason are great director / designers that enjoy collaborating in a hands on manner with fluency in every visual medium. That fits very well into what we are already doing here at Coolfire,” states Jeff Keane, Coolfire’s President. From complete creative direction on broadcast commercials, to very specialized individual effects shots, to motion design oriented Interactive projects, the types of projects the new directorial team will work on are wide and varied.
“Joining Coolfire has opened up a new world of possibilities for us. Their depth in editorial, audio, motion design and interactive development not only compliments the talents we bring to bear but they enhance each other. This is true cross-pollination and we are excited about the amazing work that is going to come from it,” states Dames.
The Pontiac “Mesmerize” campaign garnered Dames and Stamp national attention. The goal of the campaign was to show how music and style identified Pontiac. This objective required a less traditional approach to production and thus required more focus on design. The end result featured a 35mm shoot combined with visceral motion graphics and sound design that engaged the viewer. Dames and Stamp directed all aspects of this project, from the physical production to the creative direction and execution.
The team will be executive produced and represented on a national and international level by Chris Jennings of Parq Creative Management. For sales inquiries outside of St. Louis, MO, contact Chris at 617 678 0318, or via email at chris@theparq.com.

John Dames began his design career in 1995 as the first employee of CORE. Since then Dames
has become widely recognized for his work, be it as a designer, director or technology developer.
Already an internationally recognized Creative Director and Print Designer by the late 90's, Dames
has since dedicated himself to bringing design to all mediums. That led to the creation of
coreaudiovisual in 2003 with fellow CORE Creative Director Jason Stamp. Coreaudiovisual
brought Dames' and Stamp's design work to life as film, directorial and motion design with clients
spanning the globe.
After a brief stint with BBDO South, Jason Stamp joined CORE in 1998 as an art director and
designer. In his 10 years at CORE Jason quickly rose to the position of Creative Director, working
on virtually every account the agency had, including award winning work for Monsanto, Dupont,
Anheuser-Busch, Zebco/Quantum, Virgin Mobile and Epiphone guitars. Jason also played a large
role in CORE's consultancy work for other advertising agencies, including Goodby Silverstein,
BBDO, JWT, Leo Burnett, Widen and Kennedy, and Ogilvy's "SYNDICATE" to name a few.
Together John and Jason have established themselves as design directors that use multiple mediums to create
imagery that no one has ever seen before. Utilizing customized technology, this skill translates across multiple
disciplines, including broadcast, Interactive, mobile installations and displays.
John and Jason’s motion design, editing and effects work for Nike, Pontiac, Karl Lagerfeld and Mitsubishi has been
showcased in Apple documentaries, books, manuals, packaging and films. They have spoken internationally on behalf
of Apple and has consulted for the world's largest agencies in the world. Their work has been featured in Japan Today,
Communication Arts, The New York Times, Graphis, Cool Hunting, Lurzers Archive, Art on Paper, Step by Step
Graphics, Style.com, POST Magazine, Women's Wear Daily, and Apple.com/PRO among others.
John and Jason joined St. Louis-based Coolfire Media in 2009. Coolfire’s depth in editorial, audio, motion design and
interactive development was the driving force behind the move and they are excited to experience a true crosspollination
of talents. John and Jason will work as creative design directors for broadcast, interactive and new
technology projects.
The team will be executive produced and represented on a national and international level by Chris Jennings of parq
