COOLFIRE PARTNERS WITH SAATCHI NY TO LAUNCH AN INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGN FOR FRONTLINE PLUS
CFM (www.coolfremedia.com), a St. Louis based integrated digital media firm recently partnered with Saatchi & Saatchi Wellness – New York as the development team to launch the interactive campaign for Frontline Plus, Fleas & Ticks that’s in market now. The interactive campaign is running in conjunction with a TV and print campaign on a national level.
The Interactive campaign is multi-faceted that centers on the Frontline Plus website www.completekiller.com. The site enlists the “Killing Force”, three animated green man (Frontline Plus drips), to educate while entertaining consumers through a variety of interactive components. The components include a casual game modeled after Bejeweled called Fleas & Desist, where consumers can squash fleas, eggs, ticks and larvae to pass the time away and get their name on the scoreboard. A Jib Jab-style viral component called Flea Killah, where consumers customize a video short with their face and friend’s faces to become the Flea Killah or killed (flea, ticks eggs or larvae). Both Fleas & Desist and Flea Killah have all sharing capabilities needed to spread the word including email, Twitter and Facebook. In addition entertaining, the site offers further product education on usage and offers a coupon to increase trail.
To build awareness for the brand campaign and to drive additional traffic to the site, standard and rich media banners via EyeWonder have been placed on numerous pet-centric websites. Campaign specific newsletters to consumers and vets have also been deployed.
“This project was a company effort. Our production group consulted with Laika [Portland production company responsible for the Killing Force animations] and managed various video needs for the site and banners. While our interactive group did a great job with project management and development to deliver a high level of interactive craftsmanship.” states Peter Dycus, Director of Interactive for CFM.
CFM had previously partnered with Saatchi NY on the “I Walk Because” website – a social media site designed to expand the footprint of philanthropic events hosted by pharmaceutical maker Acorda. That site was a social media portal for user to upload their own videos and photos taken from the philanthropic events held throughout the country.
